Gateway To The High Country

Fishing · Snow Skiing · Water Skiing · Hiking · Bush Walking · Horseback Riding · Star Gazing · Mountain Biking

Situated in the magnificent "High Country" of Victoria, Stump Hill is a working farm running sheep, cattle, deer, and cropping.

Conveniently located, the farm borders both Mt. Samaria State Park and the Strathbogie Ranges, making it an ideal, affordable base camp for a rich variety of activities such as, fishing, snow skiing, water skiing, wind surfing, bush walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and star gazing.

The laid-back atmosphere in a rustic setting provides a means of escaping from the frantic pace of every-day-life, giving guests a chance to unwind and explore an area steeped in the history of the Ned Kelly and gold mining days.
Everyone, from young adults to adventuresome seniors, will discover something to occupy their time, whilst enjoying the ambiance of the Australian bush.

The avid fisherman does not have to venture far to cast a line in the river that runs through the property to pull in a "monster" to cook on one of the outdoor grills that surround the accommodations.

Keen astronomers will find the light-free skies and great vantage points for viewing, irresistible.
